Juniors, Seniors & Veterans
A game for all ages, young and old.
Golf is one of the few sports you can start at seven and still be playing at eighty, and at Nanango we make room for both. Our Junior Golf Program gets kids started with a PGA Professional, the SBG Seniors series takes golfers 50 and over to courses right across the district, and the South Burnett Veterans play every Tuesday for anyone 55 and over. Wherever you are in your golfing life, there’s a game here for you.
Juniors
At Nanango Golf Club, we’re passionate about introducing the next generation to the game of golf. Our Junior Golf Program provides a fun, safe and supportive environment where young players can develop their skills, build confidence and make lifelong friendships.
The program is proudly coached by Anna Stanton, an experienced PGA Professional who is dedicated to helping juniors of all abilities enjoy and improve their golf. Whether your child is picking up a club for the first time or looking to develop their competitive game, Anna’s coaching focuses on developing sound fundamentals while making every session enjoyable.
Junior golfers have the opportunity to:
- Learn the fundamentals of golf from a PGA Professional.
- Develop skills in driving, chipping, putting and course play.
- Build confidence, sportsmanship and respect for the game.
- Make new friends in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Progress to junior competitions and club events as their skills develop.
Our Junior Golf Program welcomes boys and girls of all skill levels, and new participants are always encouraged to come along and give golf a try.
We look forward to welcoming the next generation of golfers to our club!
